Fortrydelsesret
Changing your mind
You have 14 days to withdraw from an order, for any reason or none. This page sets out how, what condition the pieces need to come back in, who pays the carriage, and when the money is returned.

The right
Under Forbrugeraftaleloven you may withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. The period runs from the day you — or someone you nominate — physically receive the goods. If an order arrives in several deliveries, the period runs from the day the last piece arrives.
Everything in this range is a stock piece produced to our own specification. Nothing here is made to your specification or personalised, so no item is excluded from the right of withdrawal. That includes single open-stock replacement pieces and the counted sets.
How to withdraw
Tell us clearly, in writing, before the 14 days are up. Any unambiguous statement works — an email saying you are withdrawing is enough. You do not have to give a reason and we will not ask for one.
- Email support@ancherstudio.shop with your order reference, or
- post the standard form below to Godthåbsvej 24, st., 2000 Frederiksberg, Denmark.
We acknowledge every withdrawal by email on the same working day, so you have a record that it was received in time.
Standard withdrawal form
You are not obliged to use this form, but it covers everything we need. Copy it into an email or print it out.

Sending the pieces back
- Send them within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing.
- Pack them in the original layered packaging if you still have it. If you do not, use rigid board with each piece separated and padded — stoneware that travels loose will not survive the trip, and the value it loses in transit is deducted from the refund.
- You may unpack a piece and handle it the way you would in a shop. Using it — serving from it, putting it through a wash cycle, putting it in an oven — goes beyond that, and we may deduct the resulting loss in value.
- Return carriage is at your cost. We will tell you what it typically comes to for your country if you ask before you send.
- Keep proof of posting. The refund clock starts from that proof, not from the parcel arriving.
Your refund
We refund everything you paid us, including the standard outbound shipping charge. If you chose a faster delivery option than our standard one, we refund the standard rate rather than the premium.
The refund is paid to the same means of payment you used, with no fee. It is issued within 14 days of us receiving the pieces back or of you showing us proof of posting, whichever happens first. If the card has expired since, tell us and we will send a bank transfer instead.
Partial withdrawal
You can withdraw from part of an order. Send back the pieces you do not want and keep the rest; we refund those pieces and, if the remaining order falls below the free-shipping threshold, we keep the standard shipping charge on what you kept.
This is separate from a fault
Withdrawal is about changing your mind. If a piece is faulty, or if it arrived broken, use the right to complain or the damage report instead — those cost you nothing, including return carriage.
