What is in place

• Contrast tested in both views. Body text, labels and every button state are measured separately for the breakfast and the dinner palette. Body text and interface labels meet or exceed 4.5:1; the primary buttons invert against the page and sit above 12:1 in both. The disabled button state stays readable rather than fading out.
• Keyboard throughout. Every control is reachable by tab in a sensible order, focus is always visible as a two-pixel outline, and a skip link to the main content is the first thing in the tab order.
• The hero seam is a real control. The breakfast-to-dinner wipe on the front page is an input type="range" with a label and a spoken value, so it works by keyboard and reports what it is doing. Pointer tracking is an enhancement on top of it and is switched off under reduced motion.
• Specification tables are tables. Every specification, contents list and service count is a real table with a caption, header cells and scope attributes — never a grid of divs. On a narrow screen they scroll horizontally inside their own container so the header association survives.
• Figures are text. Stack heights, rim sections and cycle counts are always written out, never conveyed by an illustration alone.
• The basket panel manages focus. Focus moves into it on open, Escape closes it, and focus returns to the button that opened it.
• Motion is respected. With prefers-reduced-motion set, the hero video does not load, the seam does not track the pointer, the marquee stops and every transition collapses.
• The theme follows your system until you choose otherwise, and the switch announces which service is showing and which one the press will move to.
• Images carry real alternative text describing what is in the frame. Decorative repetitions — the second copy of the ticker, the hover stack image — are hidden from assistive technology rather than described twice.
• Forms name their errors. Every field has a persistent visible label, errors are announced and tied to the field, and no error is signalled by colour alone.
• Text resizes. Layout is set in relative units and holds together at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling on the page body.

What we know falls short

• Wide specification tables scroll sideways inside their own container on a narrow screen. That is better than dropping columns, but it is still a horizontal gesture.
• The hero seam is a fine-grained continuous control. It is keyboard-operable, but nothing on that page depends on using it — the same figures appear as text immediately below.
• Product photography shows the pieces on a warm paper background of a similar tone. The measurements are always written out, so nothing depends on distinguishing them.

How it is tested

Keyboard-only passes through the buying path — range, product, basket, checkout — in both views; automated contrast and structure checks on every template; and manual checks of the interactive parts with a screen reader. We re-run these when a template changes rather than on a fixed schedule.
